Meet Stuart Robinson, a native New Yorker from Harlem with an impressive background. He attended local public schools before transferring to the prestigious Allen Stevenson School in the Upper East Side, where he discovered his passion for sports. Stuart excelled in soccer, basketball, and baseball, and his siblings were just as involved in athletics. Not only were they the first in their family to attend college, but they also went on to earn master’s degrees.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Stuart has a love for travel and a deep interest in uncovering his family’s history through platforms like Ancestry. With a father who served as a NYC Fireman for 36 years and a mother who balanced being a stay-at-home mom with entering the workforce after her divorce, Stuart’s upbringing shaped him into the driven individual he is today.

He also acted as an Advisor to Minority Students and coached men’s soccer at Vassar College. Later, Stuart taught English at Dutchess Community College and continued his coaching career at SUNY New Paltz. His dedication led to roles such as Assistant Director of Athletics, Interim Director of Athletics, and ultimately Director of Athletics for over two decades.

Stuart’s passion for student affairs and athletics led him to NYU, where he served as the Assistant VP for Student Affairs and Director of Athletics. He also found time to coach at New Paltz Central High School, leading the boys varsity soccer and basketball teams to success.
